Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Schubert (ranked 2000 p4p, 1951 weight class) and Ispa Murhapuro (ranked 90 p4p, 86 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Schubert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ispa Murhapuro!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.

Murhapuro lands a left and a right that send Schubert crashing to the mat, dazed. Murhapuro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Thomas Schubert has been cut.

Murhapuro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Murhapuro wants to control from the top but Schubert keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Murhapuro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Schubert's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Murhapuro counters with a crisp one two that drops Schubert! Murhapuro thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Schubert to his feet! Schubert is in big trouble!

As Schubert backs off Murhapuro throws a huge counter combo but Schubert manages to avoid it all.

Murhapuro slaps away a takedown attempt from Schubert, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Schubert feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Murhapuros jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Murhapuro counters with a nice right hand that sends Schubert toppling to the canvas! Schubert scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Murhapuro finish him?!

Murhapuro throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Schubert stumbling backwards into the cage! Schubert bounces back off the cage towards Murhapuro, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Murhapuro lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Murhapuro celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ispa Murhapuro!
