Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Mann (ranked 4938 p4p, 5196 weight class) and Billy Stone (ranked 465 p4p, 190 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Stone misses with a few strikes there.
Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mann pinned against the cage. Mann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mann seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Mann moves into range and clinches up with Stone.

Mann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stone is defended easily by Mann.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mann pinned against the cage. Mann gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Stone wants to get back to his feet but Mann is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mann gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mann moves out of range as Stone throws a body kick.

Mann shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Stone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mann's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mann uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stone is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mann to keep the fight standing.

Mann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mann lands in his opponent's guard.
Mann with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mann is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Stone manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Mann keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Mann is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stone can do to turn this around?
Mann turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mann here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mann stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Stone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like Billy Stone has been cut.

Stone takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mann drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stone gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Stone has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mann after a bit of a struggle.

Mann breaks from the clinch.
Mann throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease.

Mann darts in and clinches Stone up against the cage.

Mann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mann defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mann turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mann manages to end up in side control.

Stone is trying to escape the position but Mann is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mann wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy.

Stone is not content to let Mann control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Mann tries to move into full mount but can't pass Stone's legs.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Mann wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stone, who protects the arm well.
Stone is trying to control Mann's posture but Mann avoids it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Mann has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
