Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dean's waist but Dean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamamoto off to one side.
Yamamoto looks to land a combination but Dean avoids it well.
Dean tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yamamoto swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dean fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Yamamoto checks it well.
Dean slips a jab and a cross from Yamamoto.

Dean fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yamamoto sprawls well initially but Dean persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dean is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Dean is taking a breather. Yamamoto says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Dean is keen to just control but Yamamoto is a slippery customer.

Dean is trying to work for a kimura but Yamamoto is defending well.

Dean looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Yamamoto with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Dean wants to clinch up but Yamamoto keeps it at a distance.

and Dean counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dean.
Dean wants to pass the guard but Yamamoto is keeping the position.

Dean seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dean throws and elbow that misses. Yamamoto uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dean's guard. Nice move by Yamamoto!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jimmy Dean dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dean drives through and clinches with Yamamoto against the cage.
Dean wants to get back to striking at distance but Yamamoto won't allow it.
Yamamoto can't break the clinch.
Yamamoto has Dean pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dean manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Yamamoto has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dean uses from the top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dean accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dean stands up over Yamamoto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dean is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Dean drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dean jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dean decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dean moves in looking to clinch but Yamamoto pushes him off.

Yamamoto tries to hold on but Dean pushes him away.
Dean lands a heavy elbow.
Dean fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dean postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yamamoto looks a forlorn figure.

Dean lands with some strikes.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dean cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yamamoto wants to hold on but Dean pushes him away.

Dean postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Yamamoto in real trouble here! The ref calls for Yamamoto to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
