Lock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Loud as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lock or perhaps it was just good defense by Loud, which made it look bad.
Despite the aggression on Loud's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Lock manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Loud on his heels. He'll look to pass Loud's guard now, I'm sure.

Lock drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lock jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Loud utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lock is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Loud sees it coming and defends easily.
Lock thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Loud's head.
Lock has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lock has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
