Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Korney Tarasov (ranked 3037 p4p, 5149 weight class) and Bob Thompson (ranked 314 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Thompson has closed the distance and engaged Tarasov in a clinch.
Thompson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tarasov.
Tarasov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Thompson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tarasov has Thompson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Thompson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Korney Tarasov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thompson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Tarasov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thompson's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Thompson enables Tarasov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Thompson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Tarasov loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Thompson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Tarasov land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Tarasov stands and salutes the crowd.
