Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaz McStafferson (ranked 774 p4p, 659 weight class) and Jake The Dog (ranked 106 p4p, 93 weight class). The Dog is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Meditation Time. Jake The Dog will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake The Dog!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Dog lands a jab to the nose.

McStafferson got a little sloppy there for a moment and The Dog has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McStafferson has managed to get both his arms back between The Dog's legs - danger averted.

The Dog tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McStafferson was well out of range. Poor timing from The Dog.

McStafferson shoots in for a double leg but The Dog sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McStafferson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. The Dog tries to avoid it but McStafferson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag The Dog to the ground. The Dog escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McStafferson shoots in for a takedown but The Dog shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Well The Dog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Jake The Dog was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
