Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel King (ranked 3850 p4p, 5195 weight class) and Poon Eater (ranked 428 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Poon Eater!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

Eater takes one to the chin there.
Eater moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off.
A counter left hand to the body from King misses its target.
Eater changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Eater manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
King throws a hook but Eater avoids it easily.
Eater swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Eater shoots and misses
and King counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Eater throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Eater is rocked!
Eater gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! King gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel King!
