Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Portman (ranked 4965 p4p, 6179 weight class) and Abel Truman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abel Truman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Portman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Portman tries to free his leg and advance position but Truman is retaining full guard.
Portman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Portman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Truman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Truman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Portman's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
