Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Irons (ranked 2934 p4p, 5082 weight class) and Krzstoph Sosznski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Krzstoph Sosznski!

That kick from Sosznski tenderised Irons's leg. Irons is trying to keep his angry face on.

Irons has had enough of the clinch but Sosznski keeps him there for the moment.

and Sosznski counters with a nice low kick that buckles Irons's knee momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sosznski is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Irons presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Sosznski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Irons tries to avoid it but Sosznski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Irons to the ground. Irons escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sosznski replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Irons blocks it well.

Sosznski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Irons looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Irons looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Irons!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Irons was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Irons throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sosznski's waist but Sosznski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Irons off to one side.
Sosznski goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Irons tries to clinch up but Sosznski circles away and keeps his distance.

Well Sosznski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
