Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ispa Murhapuro (ranked 1440 p4p, 1124 weight class) and Terry Badmean (ranked 71 p4p, 51 weight class). Badmean has chosen Are You Gonna Be My Girl as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Terry Badmean!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

Murhapuro scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Terry Badmean has been cut.
No joy there for Murhapuro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Murhapuro shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Murhapuro lands with a shot to the body.
Murhapuro is trying hard to land a takedown here. Badmean sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A countering left hand to the body from Badmean misses.

Murhapuro is looking to take a break and control but Badmean is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Badmean felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Murhapuro swings around for an armbar but Badmean sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Murhapuro's guard.

Murhapuro is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Badmean slips nicely into half guard.

Badmean tries to pass the half guard into mount. Murhapuro knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Murhapuro controls Badmean momentarily but Badmean frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Murhapuro shoots in but Badmean avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ispa Murhapuro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Badmean throws a body punch but Murhapuro moves out of range.
Murhapuro throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Badmean counters with a nice uppercut.

Badmean bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Badmean dodges the punch combination from Murhapuro.
Murhapuro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Badmean as he avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Badmean on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Murhapuro pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Badmean back to the cage. Murhapuro follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Badmean uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Murhapuro.
Ispa Murhapuro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murhapuro is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Badmean takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Murhapuro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Badmean pinned against the cage. Badmean gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Badmean drops Murhapuro with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Murhapuro looks back up at him and smiles so Badmean waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Terry Badmean will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Badmean counters with a crisp right that sends Murhapuro to the canvas! Badmean follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
