This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; George Trent!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Miz gets tackled into the cage by Trent. Trent maintains the clinch.
Trent drags the fight down to the ground.
Miz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Miz postures up.
Miz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trent swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Miz drops back looking for a leg! Trent is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trent manages to kick Miz off! Miz jumps back into Trent's guard.

Trent is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Trent controls Miz momentarily but Miz frees himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miz is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Trent doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miz.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Miz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Trent is trying to control Miz's posture. Miz takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Trent! Miz is rotating here... this could be the end... Trent is out! Miz has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
