Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden Kerouac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Axelrod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerouac comes to the cage accompanied by Hate Me Now. Holden Kerouac has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerouac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Axelrod's waist but Axelrod gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kerouac off to one side.
Axelrod looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Axelrod misses with a head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kerouac keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Axelrod gets a clinch.

Kerouac tightens his grip and picks Axelrod up, before dumping him to the ground. Axelrod manages to land in guard.
Kerouac wants to control from the top but Axelrod keeps moving.
Kerouac is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kerouac missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kerouac wants to pass the guard but Axelrod is keeping the position.
Kerouac advances position into side control!
Kerouac passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Axelrod!

Kerouac looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kerouac throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Kerouac trying to control but Axelrod is having none of it.
Kerouac won't let Axelrod get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Axelrod gets back to half guard.
Kerouac content to control rather than advance.

Axelrod is defending against the submission attempts here by Kerouac.
Kerouac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Axelrod keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Axelrod wants to get back to his feet.
Kerouac passes the guard and advances to mount!

Kerouac has hold of Axelrod's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Axelrod manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kerouac looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Kerouac won't let Axelrod get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Kerouac tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Axelrod keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kerouac goes for an armbar but Axelrod turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Axelrod.

Kerouac looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kerouac is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Axelrod rolls with it to try and escape but Kerouac cranks on the arm and Axelrod is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
