Hornblower gets the takedown into side control.
Rei Assassino bucks up and tries to throw Hornblower off but instead Hornblower has got his back!
Hornblower wants to stand up but Rei Assassino is stuck to his back.

Hornblower has decided that he can't make progress quickly enough from the back position and has rather unusually decided to stand up from the dominant position. Obviously he's going to be looking for the knockout on the feet here!
Hornblower throws a series of strikes that have Rei Assassino backpedaling.

Hornblower gets a takedown into half guard.

Hornblower looks to land a body kick but Rei Assassino moved away.

Hornblower throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hornblower throws the kick towards the body but Rei Assassino avoids it.

Hornblower 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Hornblower gets through Rei Assassino's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Hornblower has picked Rei Assassino up - he's going for a ride! Hornblower dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Rei Assassino seems to have recovered his senses.
Hornblower wants to stand but Rei Assassino has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Hornblower will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hornblower decides to return to a standing position.

Hornblower steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Rei Assassino is out on his feet! Hornblower sets himself and nearly takes Rei Assassino's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
