Tarnut lands with a hook. Brown tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Tarnut lands a big right hand that sends Brown crashing to the mat! Tarnut stays standing though and waves Brown back to his feet!

It looks like Dave Brown has been cut.
Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tarnut walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brown tries to pull guard but Tarnut holds him up against the cage and eventually Brown drops back down to his feet.

Tarnut lands with a left to the head.

Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tarnut walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tarnut has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tarnut.
Tarnut takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Tarnut counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Tarnut drives through and clinches with Brown against the cage.
Tarnut makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Brown takes a shot to the head.

Brown is rocked!
Tarnut lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Brown tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tarnut smiles and moves away.
Brown seems to have got his legs back now.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tarnut. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Tarnut rattles Brown with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Brown tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Tarnut dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Brown stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Abamun Tarnut!
