Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Callaway (ranked 4594 p4p, 4590 weight class) and Rajni Kant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rowan Callaway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rajni Kant!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.

Callaway shoots in for a takedown but Kant shows good takedown defense.
Callaway moves out of range of the strikes.

Callaway gets a double leg takedown into Kant's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Callaway stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kant swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Callaway drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Callaway jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kant can do anything to dispel that myth.
