Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jariwala scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
A jab-cross combination lands for Jariwala and sends Goldstein crashing to the mat! Jariwala follows him down to the mat - Goldstein regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jariwala throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jariwala darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Goldstein has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Goldstein bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jariwala's guard.
Goldstein prevents Jariwala from getting back to his feet.
Jariwala has momentary wrist control but Goldstein slips an elbow through the middle.
Jariwala lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Goldstein!

Jariwala tries to close the distance and clinch but Goldstein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Goldstein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jariwala tries to avoid it but Goldstein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jariwala to the ground. Jariwala escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Goldstein shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jariwala as he jumps to the side.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goldstein can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Goldstein is trying to control Jariwala's posture but Jariwala avoids it.

Jariwala seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Goldstein does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Vijay Jariwala just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
