Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Arones (ranked 600 p4p, 683 weight class) and Braulio Escobar (ranked 86 p4p, 96 weight class). Arones comes to the cage accompanied by Lonely is the night. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Escobar looks to throw the jab but Arones is out of range.

Escobar has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Arones has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Escobar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Braulio Escobar has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Arones is defended easily by Escobar.
Arones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Escobar manages to avoid it.
Arones scores with a jab. Escobar acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Arones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Escobar sprawling to the canvas! Escobar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Arones finish him?!

Escobar is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Escobar gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Arones gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
