PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luc Boonen (ranked 25862 p4p, 4935 weight class) and Michal Behn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michal Behn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Boonen shoots in looking for a takedown. Behn tries to sprawl out of it but Boonen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Behn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Boonen with that takedown attempt.

Boonen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boonen is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Behn reverses the position - he's now on top in Boonen's guard.

Behn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boonen's guard.
Well, if Behn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Behn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boonen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
