Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Severo Del Bosque (ranked 1734 p4p, 3595 weight class) and Dave Brooksbank (ranked 218 p4p, 400 weight class). Del Bosque comes to the cage accompanied by Mimosa - Drippin. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

Brooksbank throws the left hand but Del Bosque avoids the punch easily.
Del Bosque throwing a counter right hand but Brooksbank manages to avoid it.
Brooksbank throws a lazy right hand but Del Bosque sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Brooksbank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Del Bosque tries to land a front kick but Brooksbank steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Severo Del Bosque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brooksbank lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Del Bosque circles away quickly and effectively.

Del Bosque lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Del Bosque makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Del Bosque throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Brooksbank's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Brooksbank moves in looking to clinch but Del Bosque pushes him off.
An attempted straight right counter from Del Bosque misses the target.
Del Bosque throws a quick inside leg kick.
Brooksbank misses with a body kick.

Brooksbank works over Del Bosque's head and body with a nice combination.
Brooksbank uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Del Bosque.

so Brooksbank counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Brooksbank has gone for a leg lock! Del Bosque slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brooksbank's guard.

Brooksbank controls Del Bosque momentarily but Del Bosque frees himself.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brooksbank looks to move to half guard but instead Del Bosque has passed into mount! Damn!

Del Bosque is trying to take his opponent's back.
Brooksbank wants to hold on but Del Bosque pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Severo Del Bosque will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Del Bosque slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Brooksbank is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Del Bosque ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Brooksbank's jaw. Brooksbank's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Del Bosque does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Severo Del Bosque!
Severo Del Bosque took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
