A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Travolta.
Newland clinches up with Travolta and pushes him back against the cage.
Newland tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Travolta's elbow.
Travolta can't get the takedown.
Newland lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
It looks like John Travolta has been cut.
Travolta is breathing heavily.
Travolta breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Travolta moves in looking to clinch but Newland pushes him off.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Travolta checks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Travolta shoots in looking for a takedown but Newland manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Travolta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Travolta. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Newland lands a really nice looking cross but Travolta seems unphased.
Newland fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Travolta looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Newland connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Newland is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Travolta hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
