Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Link Xiaoyu Xiaoyu (ranked 5457 p4p, 4944 weight class) and Kalyn Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Link Xiaoyu Xiaoyu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Link Xiaoyu Xiaoyu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Nice body kick from Xiaoyu.
Xiaoyu throws a head kick that misses
and Smith counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Xiaoyu manages to get to full guard.
Xiaoyu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Smith won't allow Xiaoyu to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith tries to stand but Xiaoyu is controlling from the bottom.

and Smith counters with a nice double leg into side control. Xiaoyu won't be happy with that.
Smith is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Xiaoyu has escaped the position, nice work there.
Xiaoyu is looking to reverse the position.
Xiaoyu is not content to let Smith control the position.
Xiaoyu tries to buck Smith off but Smith is having none of it.

Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Xiaoyu keeps working.

Xiaoyu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Xiaoyu is not content to let Smith control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Xiaoyu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Xiaoyu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Xiaoyu throws a lazy head kick
and Smith counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Smith.
Xiaoyu tries to pull guard but Smith won't allow it.

Xiaoyu fails to pull guard.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith avoids the head kick by Xiaoyu.
Xiaoyu throws a sloppy head kick
and Smith counters with a solid body kick.
Smith clinches.
Smith gets control of Xiaoyu's arms and successfully pulls guard. Smith will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Xiaoyu seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Smith is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
