Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piney Winston (ranked 2639 p4p, 3225 weight class) and Demi Achilles (ranked 316 p4p, 364 weight class). Piney Winston had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Demi Achilles will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Achilles tries to keep at a distance but Winston has taken the fight into the clinch.
Winston misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Winston escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Achilles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Winston has his foot on Achilles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Achilles works his way back into a safe position though.

Achilles uses his free foot to push down on Winston's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Winston.

Achilles throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Winston has his hands clasped together but Achilles breaks the hold and Winston is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Achilles!

After the fight, Demi Achilles was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
