Beaudrie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mcgillicutty stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mcgillicutty takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Beaudrie lands a nice looking body shot.
Mcgillicutty keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mcgillicutty swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Beaudrie lands a nice hook to Mcgillicutty's body. Mcgillicutty takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Beaudrie lands a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Beaudrie. Mcgillicutty does a little dance to reset his feet.
An attempted straight right counter from Mcgillicutty misses the target.

Beaudrie clinches.
Beaudrie slows down the pace here.
Mcgillicutty pushes Beaudrie back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mcgillicutty throws a head punch that misses.
Mcgillicutty tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Beaudrie smiles and moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beaudrie fails to land with a series of punches.
Mcgillicutty fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beaudrie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mcgillicutty moves away.
Mcgillicutty throws a shot from downtown. Beaudrie moves away and avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beaudrie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bobby Beaudrie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgillicutty lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Beaudrie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mcgillicutty.

Beaudrie gets a clinch.
Mcgillicutty jumps guard but Beaudrie stands there with Mcgillicutty around his waist. Mcgillicutty gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mcgillicutty gets control of Beaudrie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mcgillicutty will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Beaudrie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mcgillicutty has a closed guard, preventing Beaudrie from standing up.

Mcgillicutty had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beaudrie defends it easily.
Beaudrie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcgillicutty. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mcgillicutty has his hands on Beaudrie's head, controlling the position.

Beaudrie is sitting in close to Mcgillicutty's body. Mcgillicutty has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Beaudrie is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Beaudrie is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mcgillicutty.

After the fight, Paddy Mcgillicutty was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
