Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Goldmill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sadji Nosla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey Goldmill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sadji Nosla!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nosla looks for the body kick but Goldmill saw that one coming.
Goldmill misses with a looping left.
Nosla keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Goldmill.
Goldmill drops Nosla with a right and a left! Goldmill comes rushing in but Nosla regains his composure and manages to keep Goldmill in guard.


It looks like Sadji Nosla has been cut.
Goldmill might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nosla avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Goldmill looking to sit in guard and control but Nosla gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Nosla has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Goldmill is proving hard to escape from.
Goldmill controls Nosla momentarily but Nosla frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goldmill has a closed guard, preventing Nosla from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Goldmill holds on and takes a little breather.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goldmill throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Nosla stands up from Goldmill's guard - Nosla perhaps looking for a knockout.
Goldmill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nosla avoids the body shot from Goldmill.
Nosla uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Goldmill.
Goldmill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nosla paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Goldmill misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nosla.
Goldmill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nosla moves away.
Goldmill misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nosla.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nosla circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nosla lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goldmill circles away quickly and effectively.
Nosla goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Mickey Goldmill has been cut.
Goldmill throws a jab when Nosla was well out of range.
A left and a right from Nosla both land. Nice combination.
Goldmill just misses with a punch to the body.
Goldmill connects with a superb combination that knocks Nosla out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Goldmill before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Nosla!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mickey Goldmill!
