Rowan lands with a nice body punch.
Chai moves out of range of the strikes.
Chai attempts a counter takedown but Rowan avoids it well and moves away.

We've been informed that Rowan has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Levi Rowan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rowan throws the left hand but Chai avoids the punch easily.
Rowan misses with a hook. Chai ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Chai counters with a shoot takedown. Rowan fights it but they end up in guard.

Chai drops back looking for a leg! Rowan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rowan manages to kick Chai off! Chai jumps back into Rowan's guard.

Chai trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Rowan manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Chai is adopting a defensive guard.
Chai looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rowan is defending well. Chai quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rowan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Chai celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
