Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh has chosen Amazing- Kanye West as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sid Singh acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sid Singh!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Singh but Singh pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Steel drives through with a takedown into guard.
Singh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Steel tries to stand but Singh is controlling from the bottom.
Singh is trying to keep Steel in close.
Steel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Singh is keeping the position for now.
Steel is stalling in the full guard.

Singh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steel is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Singh misses with a takedown
and Steel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Steel moves into the clinch.

Singh has Steel pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Singh pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Steel tumbling to the mat - Singh dives into Steel's guard.
Singh wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
Steel controls Singh momentarily but Singh frees himself.

Singh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Singh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Steel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Singh controls the pace.
Steel has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Singh stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Singh looks gassed!
Steel doesn't manage to clinch there - Singh circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Steel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Singh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Steel is looking to break free of the clinch but Singh has double underhooks.

Steel breaks the clinch.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Singh.
Singh trying to control the action but Steel is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Steel is trying to buck Singh off.
You can see the frustration on Steel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Steel is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Singh's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Singh works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Steel tries to roll over but Singh keeps him under control.
Singh is taking a breather. Steel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
I looks like Singh might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Steel is looking to escape.

Singh content to control rather than advance.
Singh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Singh wants to pass to mount but Steel is defending the position.
Singh stalling away here and it's allowed Steel to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Steel seems keen to control Singh's posture.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Singh won't allow Steel to get back to his feet.

Steel looking for subs off his back but Singh has passed one foot through into half guard.
Singh is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Singh is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sid Singh just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Singh shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Sid Singh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
