Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Talon Orion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fumito Makino!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.

A shot to the liver by Makino. Beautiful body shot.
Makino stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Makino cracks Orion with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Orion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Makino cracks Orion with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Orion looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Makino comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Makino ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Orion gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Makino uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Orion.
Makino's coach down at The Forge was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Makino's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Orion throws a shot from downtown. Makino moves away and avoids it.

Makino swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Orion takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Makino lands a nice looking body shot.

Makino throws out a counter right but Orion avoids it with no problem.
Makino looks to land a combination. Orion sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Makino bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Orion stuns Makino with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Orion throws a sloppy head kick and Makino moves out of range easily.

Makino cracks a nice hook into Orion's ribs.
Makino pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Orion back to the cage. Makino follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Orion is rocked!
Makino steps in with a hook that catches Orion right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Makino follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Orion looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fumito Makino!
Fumito Makino seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Talon Orion spoke after the fight, saying 'Yeah, yeah. He beat me. He came for the title.. he wanted it, he got it. Congratulations my friend. I will be back for it very soon....'.
