John throws out a loose jab but Tua uses good head movement to avoid it.

John throws a head kick but Tua moves out of range.

John swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Tua drops his hands momentarily and John takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
John looks to land a left hand but Tua moved out of range nicely.
As John looks to move away, Tua throws a big counter combo but John just gets out of the way.
Tua blocks the body kick.
Tua is looking to counter the offense by John and move into the clinch.
John misses with a hook
and Tua counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps John thinking.

John has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tua looks to throw an elbow but misses.
John tries to throw a body punch but Tua avoids it by throwing John back against the ropes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Tua's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Tua counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Tua closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends John crashing to the mat! John uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Jihadi John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
John takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tua comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
John seems to have recovered his senses.
Tua staggers John with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! John looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Tua is victorious!
