Andres thuds his right hand into Sakuraba's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sakuraba keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Andres connects with a body shot that sends Sakuraba's belly button to the back.

Sakuraba with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Andres to score with a decent uppercut.
Andres loads up on a big right hand but Sakuraba slips the punch.
Andres lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sakuraba backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sakuraba moves out of range of the strikes.
Sakuraba ducks right into an uppercut from Andres.
Andres throws a right and a left that both miss.

No luck for Sakuraba with that takedown attempt.

Sakuraba drops down looking for a counter takedown but Andres sprawls and moves away.

Andres gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sakuraba throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Andres works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sakuraba cracks Andres with a solid left hand.

Sakuraba drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sakuraba jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Andres is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sakuraba stands and throws Andres's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Sakuraba has hold of Andres's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Andres tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sakuraba cranks the arm and Andres screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Andres, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
