Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aris Lithoxoidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CLB Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christian comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Am Perfection kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lithoxoidis swivels and escapes.
Christian takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lithoxoidis misses with a double jab.
Lithoxoidis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Christian momentarily.
Christian fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lithoxoidis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Christian misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lithoxoidis connects with a nice looking jab.
Lithoxoidis throws a right hand that Christian ducks under and follows up with a left that Christian also avoids with ease.
Lithoxoidis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Christian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lithoxoidis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
An inside leg kick from Lithoxoidis misses.
Christian shoots in but no luck this time.
Aris Lithoxoidis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CLB Christian.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Christian throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Christian tries to clinch there but Lithoxoidis circles away.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lithoxoidis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Christian has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Christian and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lithoxoidis tries to hold on but Christian pushes him away.
Lithoxoidis sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Lithoxoidis wants to improve his position but Christian is controlling well.
Lithoxoidis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Christian looks gassed!

Lithoxoidis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Christian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lithoxoidis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Christian doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Christian manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Christian drops back looking for a leg! Lithoxoidis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lithoxoidis manages to kick Christian off! Christian jumps back into Lithoxoidis 's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lithoxoidis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lithoxoidis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Christian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lithoxoidis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Christian's guard.

Lithoxoidis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lithoxoidis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lithoxoidis wants to control from the top but Christian keeps moving.

Lithoxoidis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Christian defends it well.
Christian is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lithoxoidis 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lithoxoidis 's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lithoxoidis wants to control his opponent's hands but Christian gets his hands free.
Christian doesn't have the hooks in and Lithoxoidis manages to turn into his guard.
Lithoxoidis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Lithoxoidis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Christian looking for a guillotine here but Lithoxoidis defends easily.

Lithoxoidis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Christian to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lithoxoidis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Christian pulls down on the head and he's put Lithoxoidis to sleep! This one is all over!
