Left hook, right uppercut from Howardson.
Miles's coach down at AdvancedX was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Miles's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Howardson throws a right and a left that Miles avoids nicely.
A little jabbing left from Miles on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Miles dodges the punch combination from Howardson.

Howardson drives through and clinches with Miles against the ropes.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Howardson.
Howardson misses with a hook from the clinch.

Miles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Howardson throws a nice looking combination but Miles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Miles slips a jab and a cross from Howardson.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It seemed like Miles was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Howardson tries to bum rush Miles with a series of wild strikes but Miles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Miles unleashes a big counter combination but Howardson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Howardson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Miles connects with a body shot that sends Howardson's belly button to the back.

Howardson digs a right hand underneath Miles's ribcage. Miles let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Miles tries to break the clinch but Howardson is controlling the position.

Miles jumps guard and drags Howardson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Miles is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Miles bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Howardson's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miles's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Miles throws a strike but Howardson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Miles has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Howardson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Miles has tightened it up now! Howardson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
