Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Thompson (ranked 4050 p4p, 3675 weight class) and Deontay DJ (ranked 402 p4p, 375 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying DJ's choice of entrance music: Lil Scrappy - No Problem. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

DJ forces Thompson back against the cage and clinches.

Thompson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Thompson lands a nice shot to the body.
DJ throws a series of punches but Thompson moves out of range.

It looks like Deontay DJ has been cut.

Thompson cracks DJ with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! DJ looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Thompson finish him?

This has been an exciting period of action!
Thompson goes for a small jab and connects. Now Thompson goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! DJ stumbles back but Thompson runs in with a huge uppercut knocking DJ to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if DJ will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
