Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Wong (ranked 4794 p4p, 4847 weight class) and Hugo Durmamau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Durmamau shoots in for a double leg but Wong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Durmamau is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Wong is trying to control Durmamau's posture but Durmamau avoids it.

Wong wants to control but Durmamau postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Durmamau takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looked like Wong wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Wong avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Durmamau throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wong's waist but Wong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durmamau off to one side.
Wong quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Durmamau shoots in looking for a takedown. Wong tries to sprawl out of it but Durmamau keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Durmamau's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Durmamau takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Durmamau.
Wong went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Gregory Wong is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Wong gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Durmamau loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Durmamau is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wong is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wong has escaped and now he's on top!

Durmamau wants to improve his position but Wong is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wong seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Still in half guard, Wong seems content to control.

Wong is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Durmamau sees it coming and defends easily.
Durmamau has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wong is working away from the top position though.

Durmamau looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wong, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
