Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Mahomes (ranked 4803 p4p, 4635 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 174 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Mahomes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lesnar defends well and Mahomes ends up having to push Lesnar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mahomes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lesnar as he avoids it easily.
Lesnar has closed the distance and engaged Mahomes in a clinch.
Lesnar has clasped his hands together around Mahomes's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Lesnar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Lesnar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mahomes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mahomes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lesnar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mahomes has managed to get both his arms back between Lesnar's legs - danger averted.

Lesnar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mahomes looking to sit in guard and control but Lesnar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mahomes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lesnar controls the pace.
Mahomes controls Lesnar momentarily but Lesnar frees himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lesnar is working Mahomes over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lesnar distracts Mahomes with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Brock Lesnar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Lesnar is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Brock Lesnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lesnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
