Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jian Fu (ranked 2236 p4p, 24759 weight class) and Usain Thunder (ranked 281 p4p, 713 weight class). Usain Thunder has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jian Fu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Fu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thunder shoots and misses
and Fu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Thunder thinking.

Thunder instigates a clinch.
Fu is trying to pull guard but Thunder has him pressed against the cage.
Thunder should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Thunder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fu misses with a looping right.
Fu throws a right hand that Thunder ducks under and follows up with a left that Thunder also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thunder gets a double leg takedown into Fu's guard.

Fu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thunder can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Thunder tries to free his leg and advance position but Fu is retaining full guard.

Thunder slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Thunder has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fu to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thunder is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fu pulls down on the head and he's put Thunder to sleep! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Jian Fu thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
