Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liang Hanying (ranked 1821 p4p, 210 weight class) and Leo Vuce (ranked 8020 p4p, 566 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Vuce!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanying gets caught napping as Vuce dives in and scores a takedown. Hanying manages to retain guard.
Hanying wants to sweep but no luck.
Vuce trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vuce is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hanying is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Vuce's shoulder. That is not cool.
Vuce gets back to half guard.
Hanying wants to control but Vuce is keeping him busy.
Vuce tries to get to full guard but Hanying has control of the leg.
Vuce is pressing down on Hanying's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hanying wanted to stand there but Vuce had control of the position.

Vuce escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hanying gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vuce's coach down at XceL Elite Striking and Conditioning was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Vuce's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
