Costa throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Costa takes one to the chin there.

Williams rushes Costa and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Williams lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Costa backwards.
Costa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Williams breaks the clinch.
Williams drops Costa with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Costa looks back up at him and smiles so Williams waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Costa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Williams scores with a counter punch that sends Costa to the canvas! Williams smells blood - he's punishing Costa with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Costa has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darren Williams!
