Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Water (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Luis Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Water comes to the cage accompanied by Mother F***** of The Year- Motley Crue. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Water!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Luis Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Water blocks a head kick by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Water tries to clinch but Rodriguez moves out of range.
Water tries for a takedown but Rodriguez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Water counters with a right hand to the body.
Water fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rodriguez catches Water napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Water to the canvas!


Water is rocked!


It looks like Chris Water has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rodriguez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Water, up you get!
Oh Water is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rodriguez clinches up against the cage.
Water seems to have got his legs back now.
Rodriguez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Water blocks it with crossed arms.

Rodriguez has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Water goes down! Rodriguez pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Rodriguez counters with a nice body kick.

Water shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rodriguez's guard.
Water stands and throws Rodriguez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rodriguez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Water seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Rodriguez in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Water changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodriguez tries to avoid it but Water manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodriguez to the ground. Rodriguez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
