Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Stone (ranked 2099 p4p, 6498 weight class) and Chike Obi (ranked 39 p4p, 214 weight class). Chike Obi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.

Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stone tests Obi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Obi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Stone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chike Obi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone throws an overhand right that lands on Obi's shoulder, as Obi tries to avoid the shot.
Obi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stone on the side of the head.
Obi misses with a wild combination.
Obi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stone paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stone tries to keep at a distance but Obi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Stone breaks the clinch.
Stone throws a sloppy head kick and Obi moves out of range easily.
Stone thows a left - swing and a miss!
Obi misses with a straight left.
Obi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Stone counters with a nice uppercut.
Obi gets tackled into the cage by Stone. Stone maintains the clinch.
Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Obi tries to clinch up.
Stone circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Stone to counter with a crisp jab.
Stone works the jab nicely.
Obi is rocked!
Obi throws a lazy right hand but Stone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A big right from Stone misses.
A slow jab from Obi misses its intended target.
Stone defending well as Obi loads up on a big left hand.
Obi has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Stone clinches with his opponent.
Obi lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Obi is still on wobbly legs! Can Stone finish him?
Stone lands a hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Obi throws an off balance right hand
and Stone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stone has Obi up against the cage in a clinch.
Stone lands a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Obi with a big uppercut! Obi tries to clinch up but Stone pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Obi to the mat! Obi covers up and Stone unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Aaron Stone!
