The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godoi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lors's head backwards.
Lors is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Godoi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Godoi lands with a nice body punch.
Godoi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lors on the side of the head.
Lors walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Lors tries to clinch up but Godoi circles away and keeps his distance.
Godoi swats away the attempt to clinch by Lors.
Lors uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Godoi.
Lors tries to clinch but Godoi moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Godoi cracks Lors with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Lors doesn't manage to clinch there - Godoi circles away.

Lors fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lors tries to close the distance and clinch up but Godoi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Godoi is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lors had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Godoi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Godoi.

Godoi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lorss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Lors has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lors there as he acknowledges the shot.

Lors seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Godoi stuns Lors with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Oh Lors is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Godoi, as that shot connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Godoi throws an overhand right that drops Lors like a sack of potatoes! Godoi dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
