Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Persia (ranked 3857 p4p, 3457 weight class) and Jackie Wackie (ranked 468 p4p, 431 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jackie Wackie!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.

Persia throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Persia sets himself, and Wackie steps forward looking for the clinch! Persia avoids it this time.

Wackie's coach down at Clinch Pride was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wackie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Wackie is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Persia can't fight it off and eventually Wackie manages to take the fight to the floor. Persia looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Wackie is pressed up against the cage. Persia has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wackie down to the mat. Wackie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Persia is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wackie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Persia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Persia tries to get out of the position.

Wackie turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Wackie manages to end up in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Persia manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wackie manages to get himself to full guard.

Wackie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Persia controls the pace.

Cyrus Persia is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Wackie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Persia content to control rather than advance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wackie. Persia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wackie slaps away a takedown attempt from Persia, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Persia misses with an uppercut. Wackie saw that one coming.
Wackie moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Jackie Wackie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Wackie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

I would just about give that final round to Jackie Wackie.
I think Persia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
