Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Hunter (ranked 2896 p4p, 4409 weight class) and Lucky Slevin (ranked 323 p4p, 450 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Slevin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Slevin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hunter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Slevin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hunter feints and then cracks Slevin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slevin down.
Slevin lands with a right hand.
Hunter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Slevin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hunter scrambles back to his feet.

Hunter moves into the clinch successfully.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
