Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peanut Jones (ranked 5551 p4p, 5595 weight class) and John Flowers (ranked 228 p4p, 229 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peanut Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Flowers!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flowers throws a body shot but no joy.
Flowers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Flowers has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Flowers and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Flowers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.
Flowers scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Flowers gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Flowers for as long as he can get away with.
Flowers has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones content to stall in guard here.
Jones advances to half guard.
Flowers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones winds up and cracks Flowers with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jones passes the guard and advances to mount!
Jones landing strikes from the mount and Flowers is in trouble!
Jones lands a couple of good shots and Flowers has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Flowers is trying to remain composed but Jones is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Flowers is rocked!
Jones is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Flowers is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Flowers looks winded!
The referee is taking a good look at Flowers as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Jones!
Jones cracks Flowers with a big right hand from the back mount! Flowers immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Jones takes this one by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peanut Jones!
