PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eagles Farted (ranked 2755 p4p, 294 weight class) and Renan Nunes (ranked 5833 p4p, 473 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farted drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nunes is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Farted has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Farted throws a strike aimed at the side of Nunes's head but Nunes avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nunes is trying to escape the position but Farted is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Farted shoots in looking for a takedown but Nunes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Farted's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nunes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Farted goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nunes has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Farted but great work by Nunes.
