PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Crack Corn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whizzer Oz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crack Corn comes to the cage accompanied by Jimmy crack corn and I dont care. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Whizzer Oz!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oz lands a right hook to the body.
Oz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Crack Corn at a distance.
Crack Corn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oz tries to avoid it but Crack Corn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oz to the ground. Oz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Crack Corn fails with the takedown.
Whizzer Oz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crack Corn is breathing heavily.
Oz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crack Corn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Crack Corn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Oz misses with a two punch combination.
Oz lands a left and a right that sends Crack Corn crashing to the canvas! Oz dives into mount looking to finish!

Crack Corn is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oz loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Crack Corn scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Oz land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Oz stands and salutes the crowd.
