Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Martin Rusnak (ranked 5090 p4p, 5113 weight class) and Tulio Meireles (ranked 458 p4p, 459 weight class). Martin Rusnak could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tulio Meireles's chin.

Meireles throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rusnak's waist but Rusnak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meireles off to one side.
Rusnak explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Meireles looks for a takedown but Rusnak sprawls well.
It looked like Rusnak was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Meireles.
Meireles misses with a takedown attempt - Rusnak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Rusnak was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Martin Rusnak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tulio Meireles.
Rusnak gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Meireles drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rusnak gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Meireles has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rusnak avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Rusnak tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Meireles has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rusnak regains guard immediately.
Rusnak is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Meireles is looking for a takedown.

Rusnak is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Meireles is working for takedown but Rusnak is calmly controlling the position for now.
Meireles has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Rusnak after a bit of a struggle.

Meireles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rusnak counters with a left to the body.
Meireles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rusnak as he avoids it easily.
Rusnak looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Rusnak gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Meireles changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rusnak fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rusnak displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Meireles.

Meireles looking for a triangle here. Rusnak is fighting it but it looks tight! Meireles pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Rusnak is tapping out - this one is all over!
