The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amery moves into the clinch successfully.
Amery can't get the takedown.
Webb goes for a takedown attempt but Amery pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Amery stuffs the takedown.
Webb swings for the body but Amery moves out of range.
Webb fails to land the takedown.

Amery has Webb up against the cage in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amery is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Webb can't fight it off and eventually Amery manages to take the fight to the floor. Webb looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Amery drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Amery jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Amery distracts Webb with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Amery drops back looking for a leg! Webb is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Webb manages to kick Amery off! Amery jumps back into Webb's guard.
Webb keeping moving, preventing Amery from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amery makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Webb is on top in guard.
Webb avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Webb has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Webb lands a couple of digs.
Webb wants to pass the guard but Amery is keeping the position.
Amery is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Amery pushes a forearm under Webb's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Webb is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
