The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan shoots in looking for a takedown. Chruszczynski tries to sprawl out of it but Spartan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chruszczynski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Spartan is breathing heavily.
Chruszczynski moves in looking to clinch but Spartan pushes him off.
Chruszczynski tries to clinch up.
Spartan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Chruszczynski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chruszczynski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spartan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Chruszczynski rushes Spartan with punches - Spartan moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Spartan goes down! Chruszczynski follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
