Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Lionel (ranked 7321 p4p, 3031 weight class) and Derick Muise (ranked 639 p4p, 379 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derick Muise!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lionel misses with a takedown attempt - Muise sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lionel instigates a clinch.
Muise lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Lionel misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Muise.
Lionel takes a shot to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Muise.
Lionel is looking for a takedown.
Lionel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Muise pulls his leg out and moves away.

Lionel tries to keep at a distance but Muise has taken the fight into the clinch.
Muise looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lionel tries to work over Muise's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lionel is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Muise gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Lionel looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Muise works on Lionel's body with a couple of short punches.
Muise lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lionel.

It looks like Leo Lionel has been cut.

Oh Lionel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
