The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Shields Jr both land. Nice combination.
Hajime looks for a takedown but Shields Jr sprawls well.
Shields Jr throws a series of punches but Hajime avoids them all with ease.

Hajime has Shields Jr up against the cage in a clinch.
Hajime is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shields Jr is keeping busy.

Hajime's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Shields Jr is working for a rear naked choke. Hajime is not defending it well and Shields Jr has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hajime refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hajime's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
